POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project from contract approval to completion. This includes developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with company standards. The Project Manager serves as the central point of contact for both internal teams and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Create detailed project plans, including scope of work, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare requests, including but not limited to, drawing requests, fabrication and installation work orders, survey requests, permit requests, and purchase order requests.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution, including design, fabrication, and installation.
  • Regularly track project performance against the plan, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to stay on target.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Identify and manage risks, addressing potential issues proactively.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct detailed cost analyses and ensure profitability for assigned projects.
  • Manage project closeout activities, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • After project completion, assess project performance, document lessons learned, and identify areas for improvement to inform future projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience as an Associate Project Manager or 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the sign, visual, or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Manual dexterity to operate a computer to perform basic clerical functions. Visual acuity (with correction) and the ability to speak and hear. The work is sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items such as papers and books.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment includes both office settings and manufacturing facilities. This role may involve occasional exposure to factory conditions such as noise, fumes, dust, and mist.

This position may require up to 20% travel, including overnight stays.
