Job description

Project Manager
Ground Level is seeking a Project Manager within our Land Management and Industrial Projects team. The desired candidate will simultaneously manage multiple crews, multiple projects and multiple customers. Key projects involve property maintenance, vegetation maintenance, erosion control and site development. In this role the Project Manager will be our primary point of contact for their assigned customer group and will be responsible for representing the Ground Level team in a positive and professional manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, short term and long-term planning capabilities, the ability to adjust and adapt to changing priorities, and strong leadership and communication skills. A successful manager will be able to work as part of the management team to best utilize shared resources through solid planning and clear communication.
Core responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop customer base within assigned area
  • Daily focus on customer contact regarding job progress and upcoming opportunities
  • Develop project schedules and daily schedules for assigned work groups
  • Assemble estimates for job scopes of varying sizes
  • Ensure team compliance with safety protocol, administrative procedures, and equipment maintenance
  • Prompt completion of administrative tasks
  • The ability to retain and grow a multi-million dollar revenue stream for assigned area
  • Strong focus on team advancement

Preferred qualifications:
  • Degree in agricultural, industrial, environmental, or business field
  • Five years or more experience in large scale project management
  • Five years or more experience in team leadership
  • Experience estimating work from job scopes or pre bids
  • Experience working in MSHA or OSHA industrial environment

Required qualifications:
  • Able to demonstrate proficient use of Microsoft Office programs
  • The ability to use technology and advanced devices for timekeeping, project review, etc.
  • The ability to work fifty hours a week or more depending on workload
  • The ability to work outdoors in potentially adverse conditions
