TITLE: Project Manager

LOCATION: Kent, WA

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct Hire

PAY RANGE: 115-145K base plus benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Holiday Pay, PTO, 401K)


Our manufacturing client is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and project team members.


Project Management

ยท Identifies required resources to achieve project goals.

ยท Generates preliminary assessments, technical solutions, fee proposals, presentations, studies, and general support.

ยท Transitions project management and engineer activities from design to manufacturing phase and manufacturing to completion phase.

ยท Communicates with the Customer, Subcontractors, Engineer, and other stakeholders.


Project Controls

ยท Assumes financial responsibility for the project including accurate, timely, and relevant reporting to stakeholders.

ยท Facilitates invoice payments from customers and to subcontractors.

ยท Prepares client and subcontractor change orders.

ยท Monitors, controls, and reports on the financial performance of projects.

ยท Prepares or supervises the preparation of Submittals, Operation & Maintenance Manuals,

ยท Expediting Reports, Change Order Log, RFI log, Correspondence Log, etc.


Team Management

ยท Coaches and mentors project team members.

ยท Works with planning to develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors, etc.

ยท Communicates and influences policies and procedures.

ยท Establishes and leads associated meetings. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

ยท Must have demonstrated proficiency in all the responsibilities of a Construction/Manufacturing Project Managers.

ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience required.

ยท Five (5) years of experience in project management, manufacturing, or construction is required.

ยท Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project required.

ยท Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and required. Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

ยท Demonstrates an understanding of accounting and financial management preferred.
