Job description

Position Title: Project Manager
location: San Jose, CA
Contract Term: 6 months

Objective:
IT Project Manager to aid in the procurement, planning, execution, and implementation of the Regional Medical Center (RMC) project. This position may also be used to backfill current projects as needed to allow in-house staff to devote time to the implementation.
Required Skills & Abilities:
โ€ข Extensive experience in healthcare IT and/or public sector project management.
โ€ข 5 or more years verifiable experience leading complex projects within healthcare domain.
โ€ข Proven track record in vendor management, collaboration with IT staff and clinicians.
โ€ข Knowledge of analysis methods to estimate project cost, resources, time and deliverables.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience in use of traditional project management tools and communication as well as detailed documentation of decisions and other key project artifacts.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience in managing project scope, timeline and budget.
โ€ข Ability to track project tasks to execution.
โ€ข Work with department managers to identify resources.
Ability to effectively facilitate meetings.
โ€ข Ability to focus stakeholders on critical issues and put other issues, with consensus into a futures/parking lot.
Certifications & Educational Requirements:
