Job Summary:
CAVH HVAC is a leading commercial HVAC material supplier, focused on promoting HVAC equipment sales in the commercial construction market. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee job files, manage customer relationships, and coordinate with sales engineers to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
• Review Construction Plans: Understand and interpret construction plans and specifications to perform material take-offs and select appropriate materials based on project requirements.
• Job Management: Manage job files, coordinate the submittal process, handle order entries with factories, expedite orders, and process freight claims while following proper documentation and correspondence requirements.
• Customer Relationship Building: Act as a liaison between customers and Outside Sales Engineers, fostering strong relationships with both.
• Communication: Engage regularly with Outside Sales Engineers, factory representatives, and customer personnel to meet project deadlines and customer needs.
• Multitasking: Prioritize daily tasks effectively to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Material Take-offs: Ability to take off material from mechanical drawings, paying attention to important details.
• Quotation Preparation: Price materials using manufacturer software and write quotations for distribution to customers.
• Job Documentation: Set up and manage job files, including proper documentation and correspondence.
• Freight Claims Management: Understand the process for addressing damaged or shorted shipments.
• Billing Processes: Handle factory invoices, customer billing issues, and credit applications, as well as initiate credit card transactions as needed.
• Efficiency: Execute all responsibilities with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering), Building Construction degree, or comparable industry experience.

• Provide comprehensive pre-sale and post-sale support with in-depth product knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and relevant software for selection, pricing, quoting, ordering, and communication with factories and customers.
• Capable of creatively addressing challenges related to applications, delivery, and installation.
• Skilled in multitasking within a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
