Job Title: ServiceNow Project Manager - Technology Modernization Remote
Position Summary:
Next Generation Inc. (NGI) is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Project Manager to lead enterprise ServiceNow modernization initiatives within a large-scale public-sector transportation environment. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and organizational standards.
The ideal candidate will bring strong project planning, execution, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex technology initiatives across technical and business teams.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow modernization initiatives, including new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and system integrators
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, status reporting, and issue escalation
  • Drive alignment between ServiceNow solutions and business objectives across the organization
  • Facilitate project governance activities, steering committee updates, and executive communications
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Support change management and adoption efforts to ensure successful rollout of ServiceNow solutions
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and public-sector governance requirements

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience supporting or delivering enterprise technology initiatives
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager leading complex technology projects
  • Demonstrated experience in project planning, scheduling, execution, and evaluation
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and system implementation lifecycles
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business users
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
  • Prior experience managing ServiceNow implementations or modernization programs
  • Experience in public-sector, transportation, or highly regulated enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and/or traditional project delivery methodologies
