Job description

Job Title: IT Project Manager
Summary: This role emphasizes adherence to IT standards and compliance requirements, particularly in alignment with customer expectations. It also oversees site-level project implementations, including system deployments and infrastructure initiatives, to support overall business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Control - Create, maintain, and report on site project and scope, schedules and milestones. Work closely with site project management team throughout the project lifecycle from the creation of project and program plans through project close out.
  • Govern and ensure end-to-end implementation, compliance, periodic reviews and continuous improvement based on the customer IT standards, covering infrastructure, network connectivity, firewall, remote access, data center/server room operations, and encryption controls. Identify non-compliance issues, recommend remediation actions, and track resolution to ensure adherence to required security and operational standards.
  • Provide compliance status, risk management, and remediation progress reporting to customer, Ops and IT leadership.
  • Vendor Management - Responsible for all connectivity activities within construction, projects on site including tracking and reporting actual progress related to schedule expectations. Set and build key relationships with our installation partners, foster a safe, collaborative working environment.
  • Support cybersecurity incident monitoring and response, ensuring timely mitigation and continuous improvement of controls.
  • Prepare and maintain all project-related documentation, including the business model, timeline, team roster, WBS, system diagrams, network topology, to-be processes, UAT plan, and go-live plan, and store them in a shared repository.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports or dashboards to management, highlighting progress, key milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Conduct post-project sustaining and lessons learned to improve processes.
  • Collaborated with teams across multiple time zones, including Asia.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of IT-related experience, infrastructure implementation or related technical project roles.
  • Experience managing infrastructure, or system implementation projects.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese Preferred

Preferred Attributes:.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or cloud migration initiatives.
  • Experience in SAP, ERP, MES, or enterprise application projects.
