  • Submit data, reports, and updates to Alberta Transportation as required under the contract.
  • Identify, track, manage, and resolve project issues in an expedient manner.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks proactively.
  • Monitor project progress and address deviations or emerging issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and recommendations to both internal leadership and Alberta Transportation.
  • Provide expert and detailed technical and non-technical advice to the Department in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts, driving better outcomes in deliverables and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of project management experience, preferably in a SaaS, technology, or government services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience managing client-facing projects with government or enterprise accounts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent relationship-building, listening, and communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including government departments and third-party contractors.
  • Strong time management, change management, and organizational skills, with the ability to track and report on multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Customer service mindset with an understanding of both internal and external customer needs.
  • Ability to gain and apply technical and business understanding of GPS Insight products and the Alberta Transportation contract requirements.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to maintain a regular and flexible work schedule to meet the operational needs of the account.
