This role requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering complex systems integrations, migrations, and platform implementations on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and close) for IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using MS Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence or equivalent tools.
  • Apply the appropriate delivery methodology (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall or hybrid) and promote continuous improvement across teams.
  • Manage requirements gathering and business analysis activities to define clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of features and integrations.
  • Oversee release, change and configuration management processes, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), version control (GIT), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployments across environments.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate when necessary and implement contingency plans to minimize impact.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communication, providing regular status reports, steering committee updates, and executive briefings.
  • Manage vendor and contract relationships, ensuring delivery to SLAs and scope adherence for third-party services and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Plan and execute data migration, system integration and ERP/CRM implementations (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB) with attention to data integrity and rollback strategies.
  • Collaborate with security and identity teams to ensure IAM, Active Directory, SSO/SAML/OAuth and compliance requirements are met.
  • Establish and monitor success metrics, KPIs and post-implementation reviews; drive lessons-learned and process improvements.
  • Oversee backup and disaster recovery planning and testing, monitoring, and operational readiness for production environments.
  • Manage budget, forecasting and cost control for assigned projects and present financial updates to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach project team members; promote a high-performance culture and best practices in project and delivery management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; relevant advanced degree or certifications preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects and multi-disciplinary teams; experience in enterprise transformations, cloud migrations or ERP implementations preferred.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 and familiarity with ITIL practices.
  • Proven experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional Waterfall delivery; ability to tailor methodology to project needs.
  • Strong technical knowledge across SDLC, system integration, REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), version control (GIT), and monitoring/configuration tools; experience with automation and test strategies is a plus.
  • Experience with databases and data migration strategies including SQL, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL/MongoDB and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and vendor/contract management skills.
  • Solid understanding of security, IAM, Active Directory, SSO, SAML, OAuth, backup/disaster recovery and compliance requirements.
