Job description

Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Las Vegas, NV; Hybrid – 2 days onsite required

Type: 6-month Contract

Compensation: $46-56/hr

This role leads technology initiatives that support enterprise systems, infrastructure, and business operations. The position oversees the full project lifecycle, from planning through delivery, while coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role partners closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable technology solutions across multiple locations. You will assume a few of telecom projects among other technical projects.

Your role:

•     Lead multiple mid‑ to large‑scale IT projects or one complex enterprise initiative from planning through deployment.

•     Create and maintain comprehensive project plans while ensuring established project management practices are followed.

•     Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables and monitor progress to keep initiatives on schedule.

•     Assign responsibilities to project team members and coordinate activities across technical and business groups.

•     Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes while maintaining alignment with business priorities.

•     Develop and maintain required project documentation including schedules, reports, and tracking tools.

•     Act as the central point of coordination when multiple departments contribute to the same project.

•     Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate updates, and maintain alignment with project goals.

•     Adjust schedules, resource plans, and targets when business needs or funding conditions shift.

•     Build strong working relationships with sponsors, business leaders, and project team members.

•     Resolve project conflicts and address issues that arise during implementation.

•     Identify staffing needs and assemble project teams with the appropriate technical expertise.

•     Prepare and manage project budget requests and monitor spending against approved budgets.

•     Identify project risks and issues, analyze potential impact, and implement mitigation strategies.

What you’ve got:

•     Experience managing technology initiatives such as infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity programs, or system modernization efforts.

•     Knowledge of enterprise IT environments including networks, cloud platforms, and integrated systems across multiple locations.

•     Understanding of data migration approaches, API integrations, and system interoperability across enterprise platforms.

•     Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, compliance standards, and risk management in technology environments.

•     Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail.

•     Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills when working with cross‑functional teams.

•     Excellent analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities in complex project environments.

•     Effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and timelines.

•     Strong communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and present information clearly to stakeholders.
