Job Summary:

This position reports to the General Superintendent / Project Manager, and will oversee all phases of our construction projects located within the US.

This position will be required to travel frequently, and possibly require rotational work.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Interviews and hires site workers
  • Supervise, lead, and develop the assigned site staff
  • Prepares work schedules and assignments
  • Communicates and enforces safety procedures and site rules.

Responsibilities of this Position:

  • Responsible for Site Safety, ensuring the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors, as well as manage compliance with established site rules and company safety policies
  • A willingness to travel and work on our different construction sites nationwide
  • Planning, organization, implementation, execution and controlling of the daily construction site activities
  • Oversee overall production and related quality and implement necessary changes
  • Liaising with subcontractors, consultants, project managers and customers
  • Monitoring performance is in accordance to plans, specification and work instructions
  • Assist the Project Managers in the proper setting up of projects, from a logistical, planning and operational perspective.
  • Inspecting, reviewing, and reporting project status against cost and delivery targets to the Project Manager
  • Ensuring on time and within budget completion
  • Managing quality control, statutory documentation and compliance with quality, safety standards and conditions of the contract
  • Identify problems and giving solution ideas and advice
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of deep foundation project experience (CFA experience required)
  • Excellent organizational, supervisory, and leadership skills required
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both oral and written
  • High caliber team player, willing to assume duties responsibly and customer oriented
  • Flexible, open-minded, and prepared to adapt to other cultures
  • Ability to foster a team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years in foundations and ground engineering preferred
  • Demonstrated work experience as a superintendent on special foundation construction sites or adequate combination of education, training, and experience
