Job description

ACI Coatings is based out of Eastern, WA and Northern, ID.
We have an upcoming project in Moscow, ID that will run for the next 2-3 years. We are looking to hire a couple of local lead painters to supervise 1-2 apprentice painters at the job site and keep the project flowing smoothly while the Coeur D'Alene based superintendent comes and goes from the project. Additional ACI Coatings painters may travel in from CDA and Spokane but you would be the point person on job scope and flow. You would be responsible for communicating job pace and deadlines to the superintendent when he is not onsite. You would also be responsible for securing all tools and materials on a daily basis and conducting a weekly Site Hazard Analysis and Fall Protection Plan for all crew members on site. These forms are preset and just need to be filled out weekly.

  • COATINGS: Know the right product for the right job. Understand the basics of color therapy & have an advanced knowledge of all primers, Int/Ext paints & stains, & all basic base types.
  • SPRAYERS: Advanced knowledge of sprayers & basic equipment repair & maintenance.

ACI QUALITY
  • PREP: Set up all job sites with necessary equipment & supplies & do so, quickly & routinely.
  • JOB BREAKDOWN: Thorough clean the job site & break down a sprayer to the ball.
  • MARKET SEGMENT EXPERT: Residential Repairs, Small Commercial & Small Industrial
  • APPLICATION: Cut & roll 300 sq-ft/hour, brush & roll doors, roll high gloss smooth wall, spray & back-roll interior, properly trim out exterior, basics of spraying an interior, basics of log home chinking & staining, advanced Int/Ext stain techniques, & paint & stain fiberglass doors.
