Company Description
REED Construction, a rapidly growing full-service construction firm with expertise in general contracting and design-build, is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our team.
Job Description
  • Provide strong leadership, maintaining effective working relationships with project staff to ensure a positive on-site morale.
  • Display a thorough understanding of project specifications.
  • Organize, delegate and oversee all on-site work being done by subcontractors and coordinate all on-site trade work.
  • Obtain any necessary permits or licenses.
  • Ensure safety and security of each job site. Coordinate and host site walk-throughs, OSHA inspections and more; immediately prompt any corrective actions indicated by reports of these agencies.
  • Attend scheduled meetings with project management staff, clients, architects and other partners.
  • Utilize project management software to provide real-time data so that the project management staff can make timely and informed decisions. This includes use of Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, PM Web Solutions and more.
  • Maintain good relations and communication with everyone involved in a project.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a superintendent role preferred, experience with corporate/commercial interiors and/or healthcare a plus
  • Committed to producing high-quality work, striving for a "zero punch list" on every project
  • Ability to effectively lead an on-site project team and work toward multiple deadlines at once; act as a coach and mentor to on-site staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with project management software is a plus (Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, PM Web Solutions, etc.)
