Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from kickoff through completion. This role requires a strong background in the steel industry and the ability to manage all phases of a project with precision, urgency, and accountability.
Duties
Manage structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from award to closeout
Coordinate with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure profitability
Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
Track and manage change orders, RFIs, and cost impacts
Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and erection timelines
Lead communication between detailing, fabrication, and field teams
Ensure steel materials, fabrication, and installation meet project requirements
Maintain accurate project documentation, logs, and reporting
Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track
Qualifications
3-5+ years of project management experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals (REQUIRED)
Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection processes, and project flow
Ability to read and interpret structural and shop drawings
Background in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Excel and project documentation tools
Proficiency with Tekla, Trimble.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
