Your future duties and responsibilities:
CGI is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead large technical initiatives supporting enterprise data platforms in a cloud-based environment. This role is responsible for managing project execution from planning through implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong Agile leadership with traditional project management experience and is comfortable working across enterprise infrastructure, database, cloud, and architecture teams while driving project outcomes in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5-7+ years of proven experience leading technical projects using Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Apptio, SDLC processes, and project tracking/reporting tools.
• AWS Associate Certification and working knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
• Ability to identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional groups including Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure, Database Administration (DBA), and support teams.
• Knowledge of release management, implementation planning, and change management processes.
• Strong leadership, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with enterprise database environments and AWS Cloud database concepts.
• Ability to own processes end to end - take projects from planning to completion
• Must be a team player
Desired Skillset:
• Master's or other post-graduate degree preferred.
