The Director of Engineering provides strategic leadership for all engineering functions across CLX Engineering. This role is responsible for developing engineering leaders, scaling engineering operations, establishing technical standards, and ensuring the organization can successfully deliver complex projects while supporting long-term company growth.

The ideal candidate is a proven engineering leader who can balance people development, operational excellence, technical governance, and business priorities in a fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering Leadership
  • Lead and develop Engineering Managers, technical leaders, and engineering teams.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive organizational planning, workforce development, succession planning, and leadership growth.
  • Establish performance expectations, KPIs, and operational metrics for engineering functions.

Engineering Strategy & Execution

  • Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Standardize engineering processes, tools, and best practices across departments.
  • Improve engineering scalability, efficiency, quality, and resource utilization.
  • Evaluate and implement technologies and systems that enhance engineering performance.

Technical Governance & Quality

  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality standards, customer expectations, and project requirements.
