Job description

SHAMROCK ROOFING & CONSTRUCTION

Project Manager — Springfield, MO

Full-Time | W-2 | Draw Against Commission | Uncapped Earning Potential

Compensation Note: This is a W-2 draw against commission position. A guaranteed draw of $31,200.00 annually is provided while you build your pipeline. Commission rates are 35% on company-provided leads and 50% on self-generated leads. As your commission earnings grow, they offset and ultimately replace the draw — giving you a strong income floor while you work toward uncapped earning potential.

About Shamrock Roofing & Construction

Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Kansas City, Shamrock Roofing & Construction is one of the Top 40 Roofing Contractors in the United States — a $70M brand built on reputation, community trust, and results. We are a family-owned company that has expanded rapidly across the Midwest, with active operations in Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Colorado and Missouri. We proudly hire Veterans and are committed to building long-term careers for the right people.

The Opportunity

As a Project Manager at Shamrock, you are the face of the company to our customers. You will own the full sales and project lifecycle — from generating leads and conducting inspections to closing deals, managing projects, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. This is a relationship-driven role where your income is directly tied to your effort, your results, and the relationships you build in the community.

Shamrock provides the brand recognition, operational support, and back-end infrastructure to help you succeed. You bring the drive, the work ethic, and the commitment to your customers. Top performers at Shamrock earn well above six figures — and this role is your path to get there.

What You'll Do

  • Generate leads through door-to-door canvassing, storm outreach, referrals, and community networking
  • Conduct thorough roof, gutter, and siding inspections and accurately document damage
  • Educate homeowners on roofing solutions, the insurance claims process, and Shamrock's services
  • Prepare and present project proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales
  • Manage projects from signed contract through completion, serving as the homeowner's primary point of contact
  • Coordinate with Shamrock's production and operations teams to ensure jobs are completed on time and to standard
  • Collect payments and ensure accurate job documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to drive referrals, repeat business, and long-term relationships

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

  • You have completed Shamrock's training program and closed your first independent sale
  • You have established a consistent daily prospecting routine and built an active pipeline
  • You are confidently guiding homeowners through the full sales and insurance claims process
  • Your commission earnings are trending toward and beginning to offset your draw

Compensation & Benefits

  • W-2 position with a guaranteed draw of $31,200.00 annually while building your pipeline
  • 35% commission on company-provided (marketing) leads
  • 50% commission on self-generated leads
  • Uncapped earning potential — your income grows with your effort and results
  • Bonus opportunities and sales competitions throughout the year
  • Comprehensive training program — roofing or construction sales experience preferred but not required
  • Strong back-end operational and production support so you can focus on selling
  • Leadership and advancement opportunities for top performers
  • Company trucks may be available during business hours for qualified drivers (21+ with approved MVR)
  • We proudly hire Veterans
  • All new hires are subject to a 90-day probationary period

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation; must be able to transport a ladder
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Comfortable with door-to-door sales and self-directed lead generation — this is a core part of the role
  • Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs, and lift up to 50 lbs; must not be afraid of heights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you represent the Shamrock brand in every homeowner interaction
  • Highly self-motivated, coachable, and disciplined — you manage your own schedule and are accountable for your results
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects and customer relationships simultaneously
  • Cell phone required
  • Prior roofing, construction, or outside sales experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person
