Description
At The Social Lights, we're a band of creative and energetic problem solvers who love nothing more than to help brands and individuals powerfully connect to their consumer by utilizing the power of social media. In other words, We help brands Decode Culture to Activate Fandoms on social media.
We're looking for a Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of creativity and structure. This role ensures client success by managing workflows, resourcing, and project delivery, while guiding clients on process, roadmapping, and best practices. It's a client-facing role that blends relationship management with operational excellence. This role reports to the Group Director of Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you'll lead projects from kickoff to completion. You will keep teams aligned, clients confident, and deliverables on point.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and timelines
  • Develop project strategies and plans in collaboration with internal teams and client partners
  • Manage day-to-day workflows, budgets, and schedules to keep projects on track
  • Identify risks early, resolve issues quickly, and keep projects moving forward

Process & Reporting
  • Establish and maintain processes that ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently
  • Track hours, budgets, and progress against scope, flagging variances early
  • Prepare clear updates, including status, budget, and scope reports
  • Recommend improvements in workflow, resourcing, and delivery

Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure client priorities are met while maintaining process integrity and operational efficiency
  • Partner with cross-functional TSL teams to deliver social-first strategies and campaigns
  • Collaborate with agency partners and represent both TSL and client priorities effectively
  • Support project teams by recognizing strengths, addressing challenges, and keeping morale high

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3-5+ years of progressive agency or client-facing project management experience (social-first experience a plus)
  • Strong planning, forecasting, and analytical skills with a proven ability to manage budgets and timelines
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting process and delivery updates internally and externally
  • Experience working in a matrixed client structure and navigating cross-agency partnerships
  • Prior proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Google Suite, Slack)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Bonus: familiarity with creative or productivity software (Keynote, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite)
