📌 Project Manager – Structural Steel

📍 Abbotsford, Wisconsin

💰 Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 + Annual Bonus + Benefits + Relocation Assistance If Needed.


🚀 Why This Role Matters

This is an opportunity to join a well-established structural steel fabricator managing projects from award through closeout.

You'll play a key role in coordinating multiple departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Working closely with customers and internal teams, you'll help drive successful project execution while supporting the company's commitment to integrity, quality, teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage structural steel projects from contract award through project closeout.
  • Lead project kick-off activities and review contract requirements.
  • Coordinate detailing, fabrication, purchasing and project scheduling.
  • Manage RFIs, change orders and project documentation.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability throughout delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers and project stakeholders.
  • Work closely with production, purchasing, quality control, accounting, scheduling and project coordination teams.
  • Lead project meetings, monitor progress and resolve project issues to keep work on schedule and within budget.


✅ Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of project management experience within structural steel fabrication.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Strong project financial management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Steel bridge fabrication experience is preferred.
  • Value stream mapping experience is advantageous.
