Key Responsibilities

  • Supports all corporate safety initiatives with a commitment to a safe working environment and a focus on safety as the top priority for all projects.
  • Reviews project proposals, bids, and contracts to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project, with an emphasis on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Establishes and negotiates all subcontracts necessary for proper performance of the work.
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Manages the project plan from pre-construction through completion, with a consistent and proactive approach to conflict mitigation.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget, while managing the highest degree of safety and quality standards.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
  • Prepares/presents accurate and timely project reporting to management, client, or others, as required.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems, focusing on a positive outcome.
  • Coordinates project activities with requirements of regulatory or other oversight agencies.
  • Maintains the highest level of personal candor, integrity, and ethical practices in all business dealings.
  • Committed to win-win relationships through firm, fair, friendly, and factual interactions with all partners.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, performance appraisals, making recommendations to management for the rewarding and disciplining of employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
