Position Summary

Vestas is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a wind farm service site. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe operations, maximizing turbine performance, driving team development, maintaining customer satisfaction, and achieving financial objectives.

The Site Manager serves as the primary leader for site operations, overseeing maintenance activities, budget performance, workforce management, and client relationships while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the overall operation and maintenance of wind turbine assets to maximize performance and availability.
  • Develop, coach, and support site personnel to achieve operational and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring contractual commitments are met.
  • Oversee service contract budgets, operating expenses, and financial performance metrics.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective actions to optimize turbine reliability.
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor site KPIs and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in a service, industrial, manufacturing, power generation, renewable energy, or related field.
  • Technical background with experience working on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, or rotating heavy equipment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving operational performance.
  • Strong budgeting, financial management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and passport.
  • Willingness to travel to turbine locations and work at the service site as needed.
