What you will be doing
  • Understands quality procedures on project sites and determines resources necessary to ensure accurate documentation, procedures, and testing of required items in the contract specifications. Identifies risks in project proposal requirements and supports proposal efforts related to quality. 
  • Reviews internal and external audit documentation and reporting to support project site quality activities and compliance, providing summary reporting to District & Division leadership. Documents, analyzes, and reports performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies. 
  • Develops and manages quality trend forecasting and impact assessments, making recommendations for continual improvement of the organization's performance related to quality. 
  • Develops SMEs to assist in company non-conformance reports and resolutions. Facilitates ISO Certification and develops system verifications on completed systems to assure continual improvement.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan and stays informed of market trends to support the Company's strategic goals and published corporate policies.
  • Leads the management of non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and resolution processes to support continual improvement across project sites
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree and PE/PEng required and 15+ year quality and construction industry related experience preferred.  
  • ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification and NICET Civil Engineering Technology or Transportation Construction Inspection Level IV certification highly regarded. 
  • Successful completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course.
  • Proven subject matter expert in testing, inspection requirements, and construction procedures.   
  • Leadership, coaching and mentoring ability and ability to manage multiple teams across the Company. 
  • Able to develop and lead corporate procedure compliance, implementation and policy development.  
  • Strong organization and communication skills.  
  • Willingness and ability to learn and grow in the areas of technical specifications, industry testing, and contract requirements.
