Overview
An established construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a focus on quality, timelines, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and financial performance of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, including contracts, subcontracts, and procurement.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial performance and profitability.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project cost forecasts and financial reports.
  • Create and manage project schedules, including tracking milestones and critical paths.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Manage procurement and delivery of materials and equipment within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and oversee documentation processes.
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations and conduct site inspections as required.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and problem-solving.
  • Manage change orders, including cost estimation, negotiation, and resolution.
  • Oversee billing processes, including Schedule of Values (SOV) and payment applications.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, including documentation, warranties, and final reporting.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain communication with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and project-specific requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Experience with project management and construction software tools.
