Overview
Leo NY is looking to hire a talented Project Manager to join their team in NYC. This is a hybrid position that requires 4 day/week in-office in our NYC office at 375 Hudson.
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of projects, from small to large scale, throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role requires a demonstrated ability to effectively balance scope, time, cost, risk, and quality control. The Project Manager will foster a positive environment that promotes high-performing teams and expertly manages both internal and client relationships. This position calls for an expert understanding of project management methodologies to successfully guide complex, multi-phased projects for integrated marketing campaigns. Additional key responsibilities include defining the overall project approach, developing comprehensive scopes and project plans, and collaborating with the Account team to create accurate estimates. The Senior Project Manager must also ensure all projects meet profitability objectives and identify opportunities to grow current business engagements
Responsibilities
Project & Campaign Management
  • Drive project execution from start to finish: Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage project documentation and communication: Create and maintain all critical project documentation, including project plans, detailed schedules, status and financial updates, change orders, QA ticketing, and asset management.
  • Provide strategic project leadership: Actively provide insight and direction to project teams to develop the most effective solutions for clients, while also handling the day-to-day tactical operations and communications.
  • Assist with foundational project planning: Contribute to the development of project scopes, estimates, and staffing plans.

Team & Client Leadership
  • Cultivate client relationships: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate project teams: Guide and foster communication and coordination across all internal departments, including Creative, Production, and Strategy, to ensure the most efficient and effective solutions are delivered.
  • Ensure project expectations are met: Work closely with the client and project team to confirm that all project deliverables are clearly defined, understood, and aligned with the creative brief.

Process & Financial Administration
  • Contribute to operational excellence: Actively participate in internal meetings and initiatives to build and contribute to the delivery management practice, sharing knowledge and helping to build a culture of efficiency.
  • Oversee project financials: Handle all aspects of project administration, from initial setup and ongoing financial analysis to time and expense approvals, client billing, and invoicing.
  • Ensure optimal staffing: Collaborate with Project Management leadership to identify and secure effective staffing for project needs, maximizing the efficiency and utilization of the team.
  • Manage project financials and reporting: Contribute to all required financial reporting, including scope and labor reconciliation, and proactively communicate with finance and legal teams where applicable

Qualifications
  • At least 2-3 years of project management experience in an advertising agency, with a focus on managing complex, multi-phased campaigns.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from small to large scale.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, including scope management, project planning, and financial management (budgeting, forecasting, tracking, and reporting).
  • Experience motivating cross-functional project teams while maintaining budget and schedule.
  • Experience managing a variety of creative projects, including broadcast, OTT, social, digital, print campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly professional with a high degree of diplomacy and business acumen.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic issues with day-to-day tactical tasks.
  • Stays informed on the latest industry, client, and category trends.

Compensation Range: $60,800 - $93,600 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
