As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, collaborate with experienced teams, and contribute to the continued success and reputation of Newberry Industrial.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of industrial, commercial, and concrete construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure a thorough understanding of project scope and requirements.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with estimators, field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure effective project execution.
  • Monitor project costs, track expenses, and manage budgets to maintain profitability.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Lead regular project meetings with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to communicate progress and address concerns.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and deliverables.
  • Oversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior leadership.
  • Support business development by fostering strong client relationships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10+ years of project management experience in construction, industrial, or concrete projects.
  • Experience with site work, structural concrete, or industrial facility projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and a strong commitment to safety practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
