About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager for Power Distribution will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful execution of power distribution projects. This role involves ensuring that project milestones are met, budgets are maintained, and quality standards are upheld throughout all phases of the project. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with multiple teams and clients to facilitate clear communication and resolve any project-related issues efficiently.
This position will be in office at minimum 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
  • Support procurement and logistics for materials and equipment needed for power distribution systems.
  • Help manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Participate in site inspections and quality assurance checks.
  • Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in power distribution, construction, or project management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Highly skilled in Excel, Microsoft Project, P6 Scheduling, and other project management tools.

Key Nice-To-Haves
