Assistant Project Manager – Painting & Construction

Nashville Painting Professionals
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: $50,000 salary plus performance-based bonus incentives
Position Type: Full-time

Nashville Painting Professionals is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to help our team deliver organized, profitable, and professional painting projects throughout Middle Tennessee.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction or project coordination experience who wants to build a long-term career in project management. You will work closely with our Director of Operations and Project Manager while learning how to manage projects from scheduling through final completion.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with scheduling painters, subcontractors, materials, and equipment
  • Visit jobsites and monitor project progress, quality, and cleanliness
  • Communicate professionally with customers, crews, vendors, and the operations team
  • Provide customers with regular project updates
  • Maintain accurate job notes, progress photos, and documentation
  • Help conduct project handoffs, walkthroughs, and quality inspections
  • Identify schedule delays, scope changes, and jobsite concerns early
  • Coordinate punch-list items and ensure projects are completed properly
  • Help protect project profitability by monitoring labor hours and materials
  • Support the Project Manager and Director of Operations wherever needed
