Senior Project Manager

With 19 years of experience and hundreds of million-dollar projects completed, Hays Electrical Services provides exceptional electrical construction services across large-scale commercial and mission critical markets. We approach every project with a cooperative mindset, working alongside owners, general contractors, and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale commercial and mission critical electrical projects from preconstruction through final completion. This role manages project teams, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure successful execution in alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of assigned electrical construction projects.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.

  • Create and maintain project schedules in coordination with field leadership.

  • Manage subcontractor relationships and procurement processes.

  • Lead project meetings and serve as primary point of contact for clients and general contractors.

  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure alignment between field and office operations.

  • Identify and address project risks, change orders, and contract modifications.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

  • Mentor Project Managers and support staff as needed.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Proven experience managing large commercial and/or mission critical electrical projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
