Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager supports the Senior Project Manager by handling field operations for specific projects. This field-based role emphasizes coordination between the PMO, clients, and the fabrication facility to ensure timely and successful project execution of industrial piling and ready-mix concrete projects from accurate bid preparation and winning work through successful execution, financial performance, and close-out. This requires strong Project Coordination and client-facing skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEstimating & Bidding
  • Coordinate project activities in the field for assigned projects.
  • Serve as the on-site liaison between the PMO, client representatives, and the company's fabrication facility.
  • Monitor project progress, schedule adherence, and resolve field issues in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Facilitate communication and material deliveries between fabrication and site.
  • Assist with change order documentation and field verification.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards on site.
  • Provide regular field reports to the Senior Project Manager and PMO.
Project Coordination
  • Act as field coordinator for specific projects, interfacing with clients and internal teams.
  • Manage day-to-day field operations for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate logistics and resources between fabrication facility and project site.
  • Support resolution of field issues and claims.
  • Assist in project close-out activities from the field perspective.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction, preferably in heavy civil, foundations, or concrete projects. Field experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with project management software and ERP systems a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Advanced understanding of manufacturing or construction processes, including Project Coordination, material procurement, and project estimation.
Required Skills:
  • Leadership & Team Development Skills: Strong ability to coordinate between multiple teams including PMO, clients, and fabrication staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for field and client interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address field issues promptly.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Technical aptitude for construction site coordination.
