About MCC:
McPherson Concrete Companies (MCC) includes Wichita Concrete Pipe, McPherson Concrete Products, McPherson Concrete Storage Systems, and DFW Concrete Products. We are a leading Midwest provider of concrete pipe, precast products, storage systems, and ready-mix concrete. McPherson Concrete Storage Systems is seeking a Project Manager (MCSS) with a Construction Management or Engineering degree to supervise projects, ensure quality, and support our growth.
Position Summary:
This role involves approximately 80% travel to job sites throughout the Midwest and beyond and 20% office work in McPherson. All travel expenses are fully covered by MCSS. You will manage construction projects, supervise field employees and subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to job sites to monitor construction and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Document field tests, inspections, and QC reports.
  • Supervise subcontractors, crane operations, and wall crews.
  • Enforce safety procedures and assist with JSAs and toolbox talks.
  • Communicate project progress, conflicts, and solutions to management.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD).
  • OSHA 30-hour safety course preferred; ability to obtain CDL Class A and ACI Field Testing Technician Certification
