Field Marketing & Sales Enablement Specialist

Department: Marketing

Location: Colorado or Wyoming

Position Wage: $68,000-$70,000 annually

Reports To: Vice President of Marketing

Position Summary

The Field Marketing & Sales Enablement Specialist serves as the operational link between Marketing and Sales, helping bring Visionary Broadband’s marketing strategy to life across local markets. This role is responsible for equipping Sales with the messaging, collateral, product resources, and marketing support needed to effectively engage customers throughout the customer journey.

This position combines sales enablement, marketing communications, field execution, and community engagement to ensure marketing initiatives are executed consistently across Visionary’s service areas. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, strong written and verbal communication skills, relationship building, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while representing the Marketing team in the field.

The ideal candidate is an executor who enjoys turning ideas into action, collaborating across departments, and building strong relationships with Sales, vendors, and community partners.

Essential Responsibilities

Sales Enablement & Marketing Communications

  • Coordinate and maintain sales enablement materials, including collateral, customer journey messaging, competitive resources, product information, and sales communications.
  • Support development and distribution of customer-facing messaging that aligns with marketing campaigns and company positioning.
  • Assist with agent scripting, product education materials, and field communications that help Sales effectively represent Visionary Broadband.
  • Manage collateral inventory, ordering, and fulfillment to support Sales across Residential, MDU/SFU, Business, and other growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales to identify opportunities for new materials, messaging, and tools that improve customer conversations and sales effectiveness.

Hyperlocal Marketing & Field Execution

  • Execute localized marketing initiatives that support strategic growth markets and fiber launches.
  • Coordinate deployment of campaign materials across local communities.
  • Support field sales initiatives through collateral, leave-behinds, neighborhood communications, signage, and campaign logistics.
  • Gather field feedback and communicate insights that help improve future marketing initiatives.

Community Marketing & Partnerships

  • Research community events, sponsorship opportunities, and local partnerships that align with Visionary Broadband’s growth strategy.
  • Coordinate planning and execution of community events, sponsorship activations, and local marketing opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales to prepare for community engagement opportunities by coordinating messaging, collateral, promotional materials, and event logistics.
  • Maintain the company event calendar and coordinate vendor support, promotional materials, and follow-up activities.
  • Support evaluation of sponsorship opportunities and track activation, commitments, and program effectiveness.
  • Represent Visionary Broadband at community and networking events while building relationships with local organizations.

Trade Agreements & Local Partnerships

  • Maintain marketing trade agreements and community advertising partnerships.
  • Coordinate marketing assets, renewals, and promotional opportunities with local partners.
  • Help maximize the value of community partnerships through organized planning and execution.

Marketing Operations

  • Coordinate field marketing projects across Marketing, Sales, vendors, and community partners.
  • Track field marketing inventory and campaign materials.
  • Assist with budget tracking and administrative support for field marketing initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations that improve execution, organization, and overall field marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing, sales enablement, communications, event coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to develop clear customer- and sales-facing materials.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable collaborating with Sales, vendors, community partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Confident representing Visionary Broadband in community and customer-facing environments.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Visionary Broadband service areas in Wyoming and Colorado.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting sales organizations through marketing or sales enablement.
  • Experience coordinating local marketing programs, sponsorships, or community events.
  • Experience in telecommunications, broadband, technology, or another customer-focused industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, or project management platforms.
