Job Description Summary:

Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Project Manager to work within our Technology & Innovation department in our Minneapolis office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to leading teams through multiple, concurrent projects, with the goal of ensuring accomplishment of strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.

Job Description:

What you would do:

  • Manages assigned projects and programs using defined project management methodologies, standards and processes, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and Kanban, as appropriate, throughout the project lifecycle
  • Creates, maintains and continually updates comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, decisions, risks, issues, dependencies and closure materials
  • Develops budgets, work estimates, charters and detailed planning documents for all phases of assigned project
  • Demonstrates urgency, accountability and follow-through in coordinating project activities and responding to deadlines
  • Serves as a liaison between leadership and project execution teams to support alignment, transparency and timely decision-making
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $115,000.00 - $125,000.00.

Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location where the position is filled, in all cases consistent with applicable law. This is an exempt role and the initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for professional staff, which includes, but is not limited to, a discretionary bonus; life, health, accident, and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.

What is required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive project management experience, including responsibility for planning, managing and delivering complex projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities, deadlines and stakeholder needs.
  • Experience managing complex technology projects, including project planning, documentation, risk tracking, issue resolution, testing, deployment and closure.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage timelines, escalate risks, resolve issues and support critical path deliverables.
  • Experience managing third-party software vendors and vendor implementation resources throughout the project lifecycle
