Position Summary

The Project Manager, CorporateCompliance,is responsible forplanning, coordinating, and executing compliance-related projects and strategic initiatives across the organization. This position serves as a liaison between Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations, and other business stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements.

The Project Manageris responsible formaintainingproject governance, tracking milestones, managing risks and dependencies,facilitatingstakeholder communication, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the organization's compliance program. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and relationship management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of compliance department projects and initiatives.
  • Develop andmaintaindetailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross functional project teams to ensure successful implementation of compliance initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, barriers, and resource constraints.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Prepare project reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership and governance committees.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, organized, andmaintainedin accordance withdepartmental standards.

Compliance Program Support

  • Support implementation and enhancement of compliance program elements, including policies and procedures, training, risk management, hotline management, investigations, auditing and monitoring, and corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate enterprise compliance initiatives related to Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Marketplace, and otherlines of business.
  • Support implementation and optimization of compliance technology platforms, including NAVEX and other governance, risk, and compliance systems.
  • Assistwith enterprise risk assessments and compliance program effectiveness initiatives.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management

  • Build andmaintaincollaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Coordinate activities between Compliance and business owners to ensure accountability for project deliverables.
  • Manage vendor implementation activities and track contractual deliverables, milestones, and action items.
  • Facilitateissueresolution and escalation when project risks or delays areidentified.

Process Improvement

  • Identifyopportunities to improve compliance processes, workflows, and operational efficiencies.
  • Develop standard operating procedures, project methodologies, templates, and reporting tools.
  • Support automation, workflow optimization, and technology enhancements designed to improve compliance operations.
  • Track project outcomes and key performance indicators to measure effectiveness and support continuous improvement.

Governance and Reporting

  • Maintain project governance structures and documentation.
  • Develop meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action item logs, and project status reports.
  • Present updates to Compliance Leadership, executive leadership, and applicable committees.
  • Ensure action items are assigned,monitored, andcompleted timely.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Compliance, Public Health, or related fieldrequired.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experiencerequired.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting compliance, regulatory, healthcare, health plan, PBM, TPA, or highly regulated business environments preferred.
  • Experience leading enterprise or cross departmental projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, dependencies, and organizationalobjectivesrequired.
  • Experience with governance, risk, and compliance platforms preferred.
  • Experience managing the annual review of business continuity plans and disaster recovery plans preferred.

Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • CertifiedAssociate in Project Management(CAPM) considered.
  • Healthcare Compliancecertificationsuch asCHCor CCEPpreferred.
