Job description

Project Manager Location: Gallatin, TN Brand: Engineered Systems Group Segment: FDF - Finishing, Dispense, and Filtration Position Summary Engineered Systems Group is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead and oversee projects within our Finishing, Dispense, and Filtration (FDF) segment. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations and company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Project Management Take overall ownership of assigned projects and project teams to ensure successful, timely, and cost-effective project completion. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and provide regular project updates and communication. Manage all commercial and contractual requirements related to assigned projects.

Communicate customer, supplier, or staffing concerns to senior leadership as needed. Oversee project commissioning activities to ensure effectiveness and timeliness. Ensure all technical and commercial requirements are understood and executed according to specifications and contract documents.

Develop and maintain project schedules using critical path planning while monitoring project progress. Coordinate subcontractors and external vendors as required. Manage project-related commercial activities including progress claims, freight, shipping, and related documentation.

Coordinate resources and schedules to ensure project objectives are achieved. Project Team Leadership Foster positive communication and collaboration among staff, manufacturing operations, suppliers, and customers. Build and lead effective project teams that encourage accountability, ownership, and teamwork.

Provide ongoing feedback and conduct project performance reviews with team members throughout the project lifecycle. Purchasing & Budgeting Monitor and control project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met. Coordinate project planning and execution to maximize efficiency and minimize unnecessary costs.

Specify and procure materials and components while identifying opportunities for cost savings. Manage purchasing of major proprietary components in a cost-effective manner. Collaborate with internal teams to improve purchasing processes and reduce delays or excess costs.

Support and promote site-specific safety initiatives and training programs. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance project quality and reduce costs. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation.

Escalate commercial, technical, financial, or scheduling concerns to leadership as appropriate. Prepare service reports and expense reports as needed. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications Previous Project Management experience in manufacturing, industrial systems, engineering, or related industries preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience managing budgets, schedules, and customer relationships.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Microsoft Suite. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
