At World Fuel, we're transforming the way technology powers our global business. As part of our Enterprise Technology Product Management organization, you'll help deliver strategic initiatives that improve how teams work, connect, and serve customers across the enterprise.
We're looking for an organized, proactive, and driven Project Manager I to join our Program Management Office (PMO). This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career project professional who wants to gain exposure to enterprise technology initiatives, work with senior leaders, and build a long-term career in project and program management.
You'll partner with technology teams, business stakeholders, and experienced program managers to help deliver projects that create meaningful business impact.
What You'll Do
Support Enterprise Projects
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and tracking projects from initiation through delivery
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, action items, and key documentation
  • Monitor project progress and help keep teams aligned to milestones and deadlines
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate when appropriate

Drive Execution and Organization
  • Track deliverables and ensure project tasks remain on schedule
  • Maintain project reporting, dashboards, and status updates
  • Support project governance processes and documentation standards
  • Ensure meeting notes, decisions, and action items are captured and communicated

Collaborate Across Teams
  • Work closely with business, technology, and functional teams
  • Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and project team meetings
  • Help create visibility and accountability throughout the project lifecycle

Communicate with Stakeholders
  • Prepare project status updates and communications
  • Support stakeholder meetings and progress reviews
  • Build strong working relationships through consistent communication and follow-through

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or traditional project management methodologies
  • Experience supporting technology, software, or business transformation projects
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business operations, technology delivery, or related roles
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms
  • CAPM certification or interest in pursuing PMP/CAPM certification
