Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Toronto, ON. The Project Manager will oversee residential condominium/high rise development projects from planning through completion, coordinating schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. This role includes managing expediting activities, monitoring inspections, and aligning logistics to support construction and finishing phases. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve issues, maintain safety and compliance, and keep projects aligned with Chestnut Hill Developmentsโ€™ customer-first standards. Day-to-day responsibilities also include reporting on project progress, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of processes and communication across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications


  • Strong project management skills, including Project Management experience in condominium residential highrise construction or real estate development, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects.
  • Experience with expediting and Expeditor responsibilities, ensuring materials, approvals, and services are delivered on time to support project schedules.
  • Proficiency in Inspection processes, including coordinating building inspections, verifying compliance with codes and standards, and addressing deficiencies.
  • Logistics Management capabilities, such as coordinating suppliers, deliveries, and site operations to optimize efficiency and reduce delays.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Knowledge of residential construction practices, relevant building codes, and health and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to analyze risks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under time and resource constraints.
  • Proficiency with project management software and standard office tools; familiarity with scheduling and budgeting systems is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
