Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project delivery, up to final closure, and ensures the approval of deliverables. They contribute to resource management to achieve the objectives within the defined time and budget constraints.

The role involves ensuring the organization, direction, and control of the human, material, financial, and technological resources essential to the delivery of one or more medium to very large-scale, cross-functional projects. The project manager is responsible for the project plan and acts as the central point of contact for all contributors involved in project delivery (sponsor, managers, and contributors), leveraging their planning and coordination skills.


Main responsibilities:

  • Develop the single project plan, taking into account the issues, complexity, stakeholders, and alignment with other projects, while ensuring consistency with the sponsor's business objectives;
  • In collaboration with the various contributors, be responsible for deliverables that meet business objectives and create value, while respecting agreed-upon terms, costs, and deadlines;
  • Provide functional supervision and coordination of internal and external contributors (integrators or others) involved in project delivery;
  • Approve any requests for changes to resources and ensure quality control of the work and adherence to the governance and methodology to be applied within the project framework;
  • Develop risk analyses, impact assessments, and related strategies, taking into account various factors to manage the project's risk level.
  • Be responsible for providing a single reporting point and project progress updates to the sponsor, steering committee, and other decision-making bodies.
  • Manage and complete various strategic or highly complex mandates and projects in support of your immediate supervisor.
  • Collaborate in the management of internal and external suppliers.
