Job Requirements/Required Skills:

  • Microsoft (MS) Project Manager
    • Contractor shall provide support to the J2 Knowledge Management team in identifying requirements and project goals and in determining scope of projects.
    • Contractor shall use project management tools in conjunction with written and oral communication to relay project progress and status to team members, leadership and KM customers.
    • Contractor shall provide support the government in planning and documenting project tasks to ensure deliverables and projects are completed on-time and within scope of project. Contractor shall relay any issues with projects to leadership.
    • Contractor shall provide support the government in prioritizing projects and tasks.
    • Contractor shall work with KM customers through current business processes using various project management tools noting areas of inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and documenting the final outcome.
    • Contractor shall assist the government in documenting projects, applications, and websites to provide clarity of the processes, workflows, and design elements.
    • Contractor shall provide support to fully integrate MS Office products such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with MS SharePoint.
  • Requirements:

    • Demonstrated three (3) or more years’ of experience with project management tools and techniques, to include Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server.
    • Demonstrated three (3) or more years’ of experience with computer based scheduling tools (ex. OnePager).
    • Demonstrated three (3) or more years’ of experience working with DoD customers and basic knowledge of computers and software such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
    • Demonstrated three (3) or more years’ experience producing deliverables and milestones within the timelines indicated by the Government or customer.
    • Demonstrated three (3) or more years’ of fundamental project management skills, as described in the PMBOK Guide – Seventh Edition (PMP desirable –not required).
    • Demonstrated three (3) or more years’ of experience coordinating with multiple organizations and presenting project information to varying audiences, to include senior leaders.
    • Demonstrated three (3) or more years’ of experience writing project requirement statements.
