About Us
Action Against Hunger USA (ACF USA) is part of the Action Against Hunger International network, a global leader in the fight against hunger operating in over 50 countries with programs focused on nutrition, health, climate resilience, food security, and emergency response. We manage operations in Kenya, South Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Haiti, working alongside communities to address the root causes of hunger and strengthen resilience.
We are seeking a Gift Processing Associate to support accurate, timely, and compliant gift processing and fundraising operations within our External Relations and Fundraising Systems teams.
About the Role
The Gift Processing Associate is responsible for managing and executing gift processing activities for the External Relations department. Reporting to the Associate Director, Fundraising Systems, this role supports the accurate entry, tracking, and reconciliation of private donations and donor data.
This position plays an important role in maintaining donor data integrity, supporting internal database requests, and ensuring that fundraising teams have accurate and reliable information to support donor engagement and reporting.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized fundraising operations professional who enjoys data entry, process accuracy, database management, and supporting internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and enter offline donations, including opening and sorting mail, scanning documentation, and entering donations into the Raiser's Edge database.
  • Process and enter donations from other giving platforms.
  • Track and enter matching gift information.
  • Complete internal database support tickets for the External Relations team.
  • Create, update, and maintain donor and constituent records.
  • Support data reconciliation, data quality, and donor record integrity.
  • Assist with fundraising operations projects and other special assignments as needed.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support gift processing and data entry needs across External Relations.

Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of fundraising or fundraising operations experience preferred.
  • Nonprofit experience required.
  • Experience with gift processing, donor databases, fundraising systems, or related data entry work preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage repetitive, time-sensitive work with consistency.
  • Comfort working with donor records, financial information, and confidential data.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across fundraising and systems teams.
