Job description

Help Transform the Future of Housing and Urban Planning

At Archistar, we're using artificial intelligence to solve one of the world's biggest challenges: the global housing crisis.

We partner with municipal governments, planning authorities, and property developers to modernize planning systems, streamline development approvals, and accelerate housing delivery through intelligent technology.

Our AI-powered platform combines spatial analysis, generative design, machine learning, and advanced data visualization to help governments and industry make faster, smarter, and more compliant planning decisions.

As we continue expanding across Canada and North America, we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager, Government Solutions to lead the successful implementation and delivery of complex enterprise projects for municipal government customers.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of:

  • AI and emerging technology
  • Government digital transformation
  • Urban planning and housing policy
  • Enterprise SaaS delivery

You'll play a critical role in helping governments modernize how cities are planned, approved, and built.

The Role
As a Senior Project Manager at Archistar, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise software implementations for government customers across Canada and North America.

You will serve as the primary delivery lead between customers and internal teams - ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to customer outcomes.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, project governance, and cross-functional coordination skills. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external government stakeholders to drive successful implementation outcomes in complex and politically sensitive environments.

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, technically confident, and experienced navigating enterprise or government delivery environments.

What You'll be Responsible For

Project Delivery & Governance

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise government implementation projects from contract signature through go-live and post-implementation support
  • Own project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, and delivery outcomes
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and implementation roadmaps
  • Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with contractual commitments and customer expectations

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary delivery contact for government customers and strategic partners
  • Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels
  • Facilitate governance meetings, status updates, and executive reporting
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively resolve delivery issues and risks

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Technical teams to translate customer requirements into actionable delivery plans
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout implementation
  • Support successful deployment of AI-powered planning and permitting solutions within customer environments

Change Management & Adoption

  • Drive customer readiness activities including stakeholder alignment, process redesign support, training coordination, and end-user adoption
  • Help customers successfully navigate organizational and operational change associated with digital transformation initiatives

Delivery Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Ensure project milestones and customer acceptance criteria are completed to support invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, implementation methodologies, and operational processes
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across Canada, Australia, and the United States

Requirements

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, implementation management, or program delivery within a customer-facing technology environment
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise SaaS, software implementation, or digital transformation projects
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments across multiple teams and seniority levels
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, timelines, budgets, and competing priorities
  • Experience working closely with technical, product, and engineering teams
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across time zones and distributed teams

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with Canadian municipal governments, public sector organizations, or regulated industries
  • Experience supporting organizational change management or digital transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with public sector privacy legislation including MFIPPA, FIPPA, FOIP, or equivalent frameworks
  • Experience working within GovTech, PropTech, urban planning, infrastructure, or smart city environments
  • Knowledge of permitting, planning, development, or land-use processes is considered an asset

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certifications are highly regarded
