Your Job
As a Senior Project Manager, Operations & Strategic Initiatives, you will lead cross-functional initiatives that support business growth, operational performance, and strategic objectives. Acting as the link between strategy and execution, you will partner with leaders across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Facilities, and Commercial teams to deliver measurable business results.
The successful candidate combines deep operational experience with strong project management capability to lead complex initiatives, navigate organizational change, manage risk, and drive execution across multiple functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring each delivers its intended operational, financial, quality, and customer outcomes
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications
  • Drive alignment, decision-making, and accountability across cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and business priorities
  • Execute within established project governance, delivering performance metrics and executive reporting that support informed decision-making
  • Lead initiatives involving operational improvements, capital investments, capability enhancements, organizational change, and business transformation
  • Facilitate issue resolution, remove barriers to execution, and proactively manage project risk

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, or related operational leadership
  • 3+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional operational, capital, or strategic initiatives
  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and significant business impact
  • Demonstrated ability to develop project plans, manage budgets and risks, and drive initiatives to completion
  • Experience leading organizational change or operational improvement efforts

What Will Put You Ahead
  • PMP certification or formal project management training
  • Aerospace & Defense industry experience
  • Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments, including knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, ITAR, or similar requirements
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies
  • Strong financial acumen, including project budgets, capital investments, and business case development
  • Proven success delivering measurable operational, financial, quality, or customer performance improvements
