Job Description
Cape Fox subsidiary, Kwaan Tech, LLC, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to join our team in support of a NAVSEA Naval Shipyard Support Office (NSSO) client. This role requires strong knowledge of project management methodologies, task coordination, and stakeholder management, while managing project tasks, schedules, and deliverables across division, coordinating technical conferences, meetings, and process improvement events, and tracking project status and reporting to program leadership. This position is contingent upon award. Incumbents are encouraged to apply!
The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position is: $146,200 - 161,000
The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits, including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as a 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.
Core Duties:
  • Manage complex projects from planning through delivery
  • Liaise between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated
  • Utilize appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines
  • Communicate schedule and changes to all stakeholders
  • Plan and facilitate project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks
  • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries
  • Monitor task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans
  • Allocate resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjust allocations when necessary
  • Manage program deliverables, schedules, and task coordination across all Ship Maintenance Performance Group (SMPG) divisions
  • Support the mission and vision of SMPG, providing dynamic support to all stakeholders including collaboration with entire SMPG leadership team
  • Assist SMPG in developing, managing, and monitoring strategic, tactical, and business components of program execution
  • Organize, attend, and facilitate technical conferences, meetings, forums, and symposia events
  • Support Integrated Solutions Division (ISD) team in facilitation of meetings, maintaining action trackers, and general meeting scheduling
  • Gather task data, measure planned versus actual performance, and re-baseline schedules as required
  • Support project documentation, status reporting, and deliverable tracking
  • Participate in program reviews, kick-off meetings, and special reviews
  • Coordinate training activities and support strategic partnership initiatives with NAVSEA 04
  • Support Digital Program Office reviews and board meetings

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • 10 years of experience in project management or task coordination
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly Desired Qualifications (If applicable)
    • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
    • At least 4 years of experience supporting DoD or government programs
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
    • Experience with Navy shipyard or NAVSEA programs
  • Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
