Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Construction Estimators for projects located in the Eugene, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $27-35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Construction Estimator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for excavation and concrete projects
  • Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and bid documents
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, equipment, and material costs
  • Prepare and submit bids within required deadlines
  • Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate project conditions
  • Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation
  • Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures
  • Assist with project handoff following successful bid awards

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience required
  • Strong construction background required; excavation and concrete experience highly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with Bluebeam estimating and takeoff software
  • Familiarity with bidding both public and private construction projects
  • Experience with excavation, site development, grading, underground utilities, or concrete construction
