Project Manager (Water)
Horner amp; Shifrin is seeking a full-time Project Manager to work in our Rogers, AR office. This position 7+ years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Recognize and initiate business development opportunities
  • Perform and check environmental engineering calculations
  • Develop a client base of municipal clients water/wastewater utilities in the Northwest Arkansas area.
  • Network with new and existing clients to effectively position for and develop work opportunities
  • Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates.
  • Manage all project elements, including budget, schedule, and quality while striving to achieve both project profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee the production of effective and high-quality project documents (including reports, drawings, and specifications)
  • Participate in the preparation and checking of environmental construction drawings
  • Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks within a project

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Experience in water, sewer and wastewater design
  • Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of one or more design software packages, including HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, EPA-SWMM, SewerGems, InfoWater, WaterGems, BioWin, etc.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must complete a background check

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
SALARY RANGE:

The target salary range for this position is $95,000 to $145,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
