Job description

Position Summary

Hometown Restoration Roofing & Construction is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Project Manager & Estimator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for meeting with homeowners and commercial clients, preparing accurate estimates, managing construction projects from start to finish, and ensuring every customer receives exceptional service throughout the restoration process. The ideal candidate is organized, self-driven, and experienced in roofing and construction with strong communication and leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct commercial property inspections.
  • Prepare accurate roofing and construction estimates.
  • Meet with  property owners, maintenance directors, and property managers.
  • Develop project scopes, pricing, and proposals.
  • Coordinate project schedules, crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries.
  • Monitor job progress to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Perform quality control inspections before, during, and after project completion.
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding project updates.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain project documentation, photos, contracts, and change orders.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards and local building codes.


Qualifications

  • Experience in roofing, restoration, or construction estimating preferred.
  • Knowledge of  commercial roofing systems, commercial and residential new construction, and commercial properties.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is a plus.
  • Experience with estimating software. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to climb ladders, inspect roofs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mobile technology.
