Spur Environmental Services is currently seeking an Experienced Project Manager who is professional, customer service driven, and possesses critical thinking strategies to provide the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for clients in a wide range of industries.

You enjoy planning, problem solving in the moment, and your colleagues count on you to design innovative and practical solutions. You possess a friendly and customer service-oriented demeanor while interfacing with clients to gain their trust and assure them that they can rest easy when their projects are under your supervision. You confidently assess their needs and develop methodical plans of action with your teams to deliver services that exceed client’s expectations.

Requirements:

·         Minimal of 2 Years working in a Project Management / Supervisory capacity with team leadership.

·         Relative Field Experience in One or More of the Following Industries: Environmental, Waste Management, Oil / Gas / Pipeline / Exploration & Production, Construction, Industrial Plants, Vacuum Truck / Hydro Vac, Equipment Operating.

·         Organized, an ability to prioritize work based on assessment of severity of each situation, make judgments and decisions to determine response levels, high sense of urgency, and a strong attention to detail.

·         High School Diploma or GED equivalent

·         Minimal Class C Driver's License

·         Good Driving record with less than 3 violations in the last 3 years

·         Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including over time, and periodical weekends.

·         Travel Periodically

·         Comfort wearing a respirator as needed (Clean shaven/mustache facial hair acceptable)

·         Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

·         Basic Computer Skills to clock in/out, upload Project Photos and Notes into App. Microsoft Office, Excel and Email

·         Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening, including, but not limited to, employment verifications, background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search.

Preferences but Not Required:

·         40 Hour HAZWOPER

·         Confined Space Entry Certification

·         Fundamental knowledge of industrial chemical compatibility, a developed understanding of RCRA Waste, State & Federal environmental regulations.

Working Conditions:

·         Dependent on schedule, you may work from the office, on the yard, or at client’s sites.

·         Due to the diversity of both scheduled and non-scheduled Remediation’s, Industrial Services and Emergency Response needs, physical demands, and environmental conditions vary significantly depending on the project. May work in environments that are extreme in nature such as heat, cold, heights, chemicals, loud noises, heavy equipment, long hours, etc. May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities, such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 100 pounds or more.

Schedule:

·         8-12 Hour Shifts Dependent on Project Needs

·         Monday – Friday, Periodic Weekends

·         Typical Report for Duty 6:30-7:00am

·         Rotational On Call

·         Overtime Available

Technical Job Expectations:

·         Support Sales by attending job walks to interface with clients to develop the most advantageous solutions, while providing realistic and honest expectations.

·         Develop written scope of work and itemized budget in order for Bids & Proposals to be produced.

·         Source Subcontractors, Equipment, and supplies.

·         Coordinate project requirements and internal resources with scheduler promptly.

·         Ensure Project Supervisors a Complete Understanding of the Scope of Work, Timeline, Budget, Client Expectations, Safety Requirements / Concerns, and Contingency Plans.

·         Be onsite to initiate and conclude projects.

·         Provide on the job training as needed to technicians and subcontracted labor support under your supervision to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and safely.

·         Periodically visit sites through the duration of the project to ensure that the Project Supervisor is safely executing the project, monitor quality controls and meeting client expectations.

·         Trouble shoot and problem solve quickly, while engaging resources to ensure client expectations are met without exceeding project budget.

·         Actively Supervise and communicate to all personnel, contractors, and clients from start to finish to ensure services are executed to exceed client’s expectations in the most cost and time efficient manner.

·         Update Operations Manager on status of project schedule, procurement needs (personnel, equipment, supplies) and potential problems.

·         Execute the sampling, analysis processing, documentation, and disposition.

·         Review Project Supervisor’s documentation of work orders, complete with personnel times, equipment / supplies used, and subcontractors to ensure all services can be promptly billed to the clients in its entirety.

·         Review Project Invoice to ensure all expenditures are recouped and maximum revenue is billed without error.

·         Oversee Inventory, compliance, supplies and the maintenance of equipment, such as air monitors, pressure washers, porta-vac units, crew trucks, industrial and response units.

·         Work with clients / generators to create waste profiles, ensuring that compliance and integrity is never compromised.

·         Reviews and signs RCRA manifests / BOLs, as needed.

·         Performs other, related duties as assigned. These are duties may not be specifically listed in this description, but which are within the general nature typically associated with the employee’s level of work.
