We are a growing construction company seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive long-term business growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding our client base, managing key customer relationships, and leading the sales team. We are looking for a strategic leader with a strong understanding of the construction industry who can identify new opportunities, mentor team members, and help shape the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-home sales appointments with homeowners to evaluate their needs, inspect project conditions, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth and revenue objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the sales team by setting performance goals, providing coaching, and monitoring results.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, site visits, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, developers, architects, property managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation of estimates, proposals, and contracts to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and customer relationships using CRM software while maintaining accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and improve sales performance.
  • Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Develop innovative sales initiatives and marketing ideas to strengthen the company's market presence and expand into new markets.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and present results to company leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the construction, roofing, siding, windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.
  • Demonstrated success in developing sales strategies and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and estimating practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, CRM software, and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and field visits.
