Electrical Project Manager – Austin, TX

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor in the Austin market to identify experienced Electrical Project Managers with a proven track record delivering ground-up commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical/data center projects.

This opportunity is ideal for a driven leader who excels in fast-paced environments, effectively bridges field and office operations, and successfully manages projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Manage multiple electrical projects while maintaining schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives.
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor coordination, manpower planning, and project logistics.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals, and coordinate with BIM/VDC teams.
  • Support field operations through site visits, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and trade partners.
  • Manage change orders, cost reporting, forecasting, and monthly billings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, NEC requirements, and client-specific project requirements.
  • Participate in preconstruction, estimating support, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Electrical Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up commercial, healthcare, and/or data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and project controls.
  • Experience with Procore, Microsoft Excel, and other project management platforms.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Managed electrical scopes ranging from $5M to $50M+.
  • Design-build or design-assist project experience.
  • Healthcare, mission-critical, and commissioning experience highly preferred.
