Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the delivery and execution of Retail Network Transformation initiatives aimed at optimizing our branch network. This role will work cross-functionally with teams such as Properties, Leasing, Design, Branding, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery of branch transformation projects. Clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to travel across states within the Citizens footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for branch openings, closures, relocations, redesigns, and size reductions.
  • Collaborate with the Properties team to execute transformation activities and manage related internal kick off communications.
  • Create and manage project status reports with a focus on customer impact and expectations.
  • Coordinate internal hand-offs to ensure timely completion of both customer-facing and internal deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates to management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support special projects and new initiatives as assigned, including process improvement efforts.
  • Oversee safe deposit communications for both colleagues and customers, ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and timelines

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Required Qualifications:

  • Significant experience leading retail branch initiatives, including new branch openings, closures, relocations, and renovation projects.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results independently while knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Proven experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with intermediate skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience working across business lines to implement change.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues, opportunities, and recommendations tailored to the audience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (4 days in office) 

This role is location-flexible within designated Citizens Bank markets; availability is limited to specific footprint locations

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $92,000-$127,000 per year.  Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.  We offer competitive pay, comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits, maternity/paternity leave, flexible work arrangements, education reimbursement, wellness programs and more.
