Your Job
Our Phillips-Medisize MedTech Team is a global team thatis hiring for a Business Development Manager position for our U.S. team.This role will lead a strategic effort to grow profitable sales in the MedTech market through the process of assessment, intelligence gathering, generating sales leads, and following the sales pipeline process. They will develop solid relationships between assigned accounts, Phillips-Medisize's leadership and working teams.
This is a remote role that will be based in the Eastern US and will involve some travel throughout the United States and Internationally to work with internal and external customers.

What You Will Do
  • Medical business development selling, medical connectors and cable assemblies, injection molded components, full medical devices and design & development services
  • Identify market/customer trends, unmet market needs and product opportunities in the Medical Device markets where Phillips-Medisize and Molex capabilities can create value for our customers
  • Develop a pipeline and follow the sales funnel process from prospect to sustaining customer to increase development and production sales
  • Responsible for customer RFQ's, participating in the development of new project proposals, negotiating master development and supply agreement
  • Develop a sales strategy and then negotiate the development and recurring costs with customers to win new business
  • Communicate the business strategy to management, project teams, and customers in a clear and compelling way that creates alignment and drives execution
  • Build strong relationships with customers at all levels, including C-suite, to grow sales and manage existing work
  • Foster partnerships between customers and the internal product development, manufacturing, and management teams
  • Develop positive working relationships with all internal disciplines, teams, and management

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Five (5) years or more of sales experience
  • Experience developing new medical customers, markets, and technologies
  • Experience with connectors, cable assemblies or injection molding
  • Bachelor's degree

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working with Medical CDMO
  • Experience with product development, contract manufacturing and associated processes

For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
