Job description

Responsibilities

Responsible for the analysis and activity related to maintaining supply for production.  Works directly with customers during projects and supports Project management.  Involved in planning, logistics and materials management supporting the entire site.  Develops and implements improvements across supply chain and the site. Person responsible for Pharmaceutical Technology (RPT) 


Tasks

  • Collaborates closely with team members to achieve multiple project objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Analysis and activity related to maintaining logistical supply for production.
  • Supports Project Management.
  • Customer project support dealing directly with the external customers and managing customer shipments.
  • Materials management activities such as receiving incoming shipments into the warehouse, picking orders, restocking the Buffer area.
  • Logistics activities including receiving incoming materials as well as preparing documents for outgoing shipments in compliance with SOP and regulatory standards including import and export shipments.
  • Warehousing activities including maintaining a clean warehouse space, performing annual inventory, and putting away received materials.
  • Analytical activities related to logistics costs and efficiencies.
  • Monitoring of shipments in progress.
  • Assist with Logistics related topics for the new VDSC Site projects.
  • Investigate shipment discrepancies and assist in coordinating corrective actions.
  • Process improvement
  • Maintaining training compliance by reading SOP’s
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in business/related field.
  • 3 years’ work experience in a supply chain role.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
